Why work with Tales In Apparel over any other freelancer?

Experience, we know your goal is to make money and we plan to do that for you. We know the children’s market and the cost corners to cut on sample making, production, presentation and even running tradeshows. We perform brand raising - like barn raisings but for your brand. We will not only design your collections but analyze your market and growth potential. Even if you have a full design team in place we can pick up where they leave off. Having been in all spectrums of the industry – we know a bit about your business. Tales In Apparel is reliable, professional, easy to reach and will treat each project with highest priority.

Have you experience designing/ selling to big box stores and department like Babies”R”Us, Target or Macy's?

Yes. Our past ranges from start-ups to mass market brands. Friendly tip - In our experience being aware of ‘CSPIA testing requirements for children’ is just as important as shipping requirements. Both will cost you, change constantly and need meticulous attention.

What does Fable Lore mean?

Both technically mean story. A friend in PR once told me that every great clothing brand had a memorable story, even if it was not based on truth. From 2006 to 2009 I owned childrenswear brands Fable and Lore which sold with story book hang tags– each 20 pages and unique to season and brand. Unfortunately due to 2009 CSPIA requirements my testing costs skyrocketed, profits dwindled and at the end of 2009 I closed that chapter of my life. But I never looked back - Without my downfall I wouldn’t be able to help you with the same passion for survival and unique perspective of the industry. Fable Lore name remains to serve as a reminder to build stories around your brand and market yourself to the unforgettable.
